Synopsis

A coming-of-age romance with two friends who grow up like siblings. Their parents are Godparents to the other child and often treat their Godchild more favorably than their own child. So there is a one up type of rivalry that exists between the two found family friends. They even bicker over who should call whom older sister or older brother. Xiao Tu's charming chaos of a personality opens the show with a lot of levity. It's all fun and games and family like camaraderie until one of them starts to have feelings for the other. With no blood relation tying them together, they discover growing heartfelt feelings that may always have been there buried beneath the fascade of a family connection. This joyful friends to more romance follows Ling Chao and Xiao Tu as they face all the challenges of growing into early adulthood and figuring out what they really mean to each other. Will they accept the relationship that was pre-defined by the adults or realize the value of love that may have been right there all along.

Major Characters:

•  Ling Chao (Wen Junhui / Jun): A brilliant, perfectionist, and somewhat reserved young man who has known Xiao Tu since childhood. Sensitive and independent, he gradually realizes his deep feelings for his carefree neighbor go beyond rivalry and friendship. 

•  Xiao Tu (Zhang Miaoyi): The adorable, scatterbrained, and energetic girl-next-door who grows up alongside Ling Chao. Outgoing and a bit tomboyish, she shares a close, sibling-like bond with him filled with playful competition and unwavering support.
