Synopsis

Dr Shao Qin (Tang Xiao Tian) is a neurosurgeon and a highly sought after bachelor. Despite many female admirers vying for his attention, he seems to be so laser focused on his career that he has no interest in romance. In reality, he is waiting for the girl he fell in love with as a child, the same girl that saved him from merciless teasing and bullying as “fatty.” Cong Rong (XingFei) is supposed to be over seas studying finance when she deceives her mother and slips back home to take an internship as a legal mediator in the very hospital Shao Qin is working at. He instantly recognizes his childhood friend/first love but his appearance has so dramatically changed she does not recognize him. Fate must have intervened as Cong Rong would not have ended up at that hospital if her mother had not been so opposed to her pursuing a career in law. Hoping she will recognize him, Dr. Shao does not immediately reveal he is fatty which makes his sudden interest in her odd from her perspective. Will the girl he has been waiting for finally accept his feelings? Why did she disappear without a word?

Review

Dr Shoa Qin never waivers in his love and pursuit of Cong Romg and if you want a simple predictable romance that ends happy this is it. That simplicity os bth the strength and the weakness of this drama. I liked it well enough but would be unlikely to watch it again because of its simplicity.
